sustainable transport
Rail: The Pines Calyx is close to European and South-East Rail services, making it easy to reach using low-carbon transport.
The venue is served by two stations, Dover Priory (5.5 miles) and Martin Mill (2 miles)
In addition the high speed link between St. Pancras Intl. and Dover Priory will open in December 2009 making the journey from London just over an hour.
Rail travel can claim some impressive green credentials. A full train is at least twice as energy efficient as a full car – driving down the carbon cost per passenger mile and making a very clear case for rail as an eco-friendly travel option.
